Redefine vector and plot types

General form

deftype v typename abbrev
deftype p plottype pattern [pattern ...]

Define vector and plot types.

deftype v defines a new type of vector, typename, with the abbreviation abbrev, used when the type is shown as a unit (for example on plot axes). Redefining an existing type changes its abbreviation. A vector's type is set with settype.

deftype p gives the plot type plottype to plots whose names match any of the patterns. The plot type is used to name the plots of that kind (for example tran1, ac2).
